Sleepwalking

The story plays around a 12-year-old Tara, who got dumped by her mother, Jolene (played by Charlize Theron) so she had to stay with James (Jolene's brother). Her uncle now have to take care of her and in a little bit in the dark about it. Tara and James then went on a road trip to get away from the unfortunate circumstances.

Winter can be very bleak to watch. The setting was rather depressing especially after what happened towards the end. If you're looking for a feel good movie, this is the wrong movie for you. I do understand that the movie is dark in its own right. This sort of movie usually premieres at Sundance. I don't know if other people will like it or not. But I do recommend it.
