The Good Life

A touching film about a young man who just wants to fit in a place where its not really welcoming to him. With all the mess that's been going on his life (Dad who just committed suicide and a Mum who's very dependent on him), he then found a new friend who helps him in a way through it (well, sort of).

The characters are all charming and convincing. The director/writer made it well. He has strange characters yet they're very moving. Decent story too. Jason, played by Mark Webber is very likable despite being depressive and introverted. Chris Klein is very effective for his role although its a small one. And lastly, Frances (Zooey Deschanel) is very charming even if she has hidden agendas herself.

I think this is a must see.

About Febbe

I was born in Toledo City but moved to Lapu-Lapu City at a very young age. Grew up, attended school and now, still lives there. She loves movies and saw a little too many. She also watches a lot of crappy tv shows. For some reason, she thinks its relevant to mention that. She played damath and chess on her primary school years. She won games and was sent to other schools to compete. This has turned out to be completely and utterly useless. Now, she's writing about herself in the 3rd person. What's up with that?! LoL! Peace out!
