The Jane Austen Book Club

This is one of those light-hearted movies I like. Not too complicated conflicts, kind characters and interesting enough story.

A group of friends and new acquintances decided to get together once a month to bond and to discuss Jane Austen's novels. As they go along, their problems interwines with the problems faced by Austen's heroines. Most of their problems center around love, or lack of love which, again, follows Austen's plots.

My movie review: It helps if you know your Austen when watching the movie but if that's not the case, this is still worth a try. I just wanna get it out there, this is not a chick flick. Men can give a try and may like it. This is a great film for anyone who likes to read and likes to think.

About Febbe

I was born in Toledo City but moved to Lapu-Lapu City at a very young age. Grew up, attended school and now, still lives there. She loves movies and saw a little too many. She also watches a lot of crappy tv shows. For some reason, she thinks its relevant to mention that. She played damath and chess on her primary school years. She won games and was sent to other schools to compete. This has turned out to be completely and utterly useless. Now, she's writing about herself in the 3rd person. What's up with that?! LoL! Peace out!
