This is about a little white lie about losing her virginity gets out, a clean cut high school girl (Emma Stone) sees her life paralleling Hester Prynne's in "The Scarlet Letter," which she is currently studying in school - until she decides to use the rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing.
Some bits was really funny. It got us singing, "I got a. I got a. I got a. I got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunshine, oh ooh oh oh! Take me awaaaaaaaay!" by Natasha Bedingfield for days on end. Unfortunately, I dooze off half through the film but it got nothing to do with it. Honest! And this is not a movie review. :D
